Tomei, Jackson board 'Inescapable'

Marisa Tomei and Joshua Jackson are joining Alexander Siddig because the leads within the indie thriller "Unavoidable." Film is going to be directed by "Cairo Time" author-director Ruba Nadda, who also authored the script. It will likely be created by Daniel Iron ("Edwin Boyd," "Cairo Time") with Lance Samuels ("The Bang Bang Club"). Christine Vachon of Killer Films, Kirk D'Amico of Myriad Pictures and Mark Slone of Alliance Films are executive producers. Alliance Films will even distribute "Unavoidable" in Canada. Project may be the story of the Syrian expatriate (Siddig) whose journalist daughter gets lost in Damascus. He or she must go back to his homeland to locate her regardless of the risks and calls on the former love (Tomei) to assist him.
